Eating out

There are plenty of places to eat out round and about, from pubs and restaurants to cafes.

• Blackberry Farm Shop and Lizzies Larder – Milton Damerel – dog friendly perfect for local home produce, cream teas and home-made pasties and pies
• Devils Stone Inn – Shebbear– a lovely, dog and human-friendly traditional pub but no food at present
• The Rydon Inn – Holsworthy – a  friendly, family pub with good local produce and a nice garden overlooking the countryside
• The Woodford Bridge Country Club – Milton Damerel – a comprehensive menu in both the bar and the restaurant – they even do a takeaway service
• Indian Ocean – Holsworthy – very basic dining experience but really good Indian food, take your own alcohol or use them for a takeaway – you can order online 
• Life’s A Beach – Bude – lovely food overlooking Summerleaze Beach
• Farmers Arms – Woolfardisworthy also known as Woolsery – Lovely food and surroundings a little on the expensive side but worth it for a special occasion
• Instow Arms – Instow – good food and lovely dog-friendly pub with covered outside dining as well and good indoor space
• The Boathouse – Instow – good food and dog friendly – you can eat inside or outside (weather dependent)
• The Black River Inn – Black Torrington – a fabulous pub with dining in the restaurant or bar – serving tapas or excellent main meals.  We love it!
